i think that the eddie murphy movie boomerang talked about that. they said something like the pool table is green to represent the earth and the colored balls represent the other races. but it was just a movie and not to be taken seriously. but it was some food for thought.

haha I was at the play Avenue Q at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, about a year ago?, and they played this. It was awesome!
